The Shop

You will find The Honey Pot in the heart of picturesque Markeaton Park click here to see a picture..., Derbys number one park.
It is situated in the park's craft village, which is a host to a variety of skilled craftsmen and is fun for all the family including : Garden Sheds and Gates, Children's Paint a Pot and Ceramics, Design Furniture, Steel Art Designs, Cartoonist, Stained Glass, Gift Shop, Picture Framing and of course Beekeeping.
Joining the Craft Village is a Cafe' and toilets.

Normal opening times: At The Honey Pot, Markeaton Park Craft Village, I am normally open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 12 noon till 5 pm. Due to the nature of the business, we are sometimes at shows and Farmers’ Markets throughout the year, so you are advised to check before calling. Telephone 01332 203893 or e.mail

Easy vehicle access: From Markeaton Island (the A52 and A38) go on to the A52 Ashbourne Road for about I mile, turn right onto Markeaton Lane, half a mile turn right near Markeaton Garden Centre and Home Farm and go through the no entry signs into the rear of the park, turn right opposite the duck pond and there is free parking (sign posted authorised vehicles only) for customers visiting The Honey Pot.
